Learning by Helping is a methodology focused on learning how to develop creative projects with a social impact.

In this talk, the creators of the methodology will share the process of their last study and the 3 social creative projects that were born from it. These projects work around the intercultural crisis suffered by refugees today.

“Creativity of social impact: 3 projects in 8 weeks”, a talk that seeks to demonstrate the great social impact that can be achieved in a short time. And above all, inspire every maker in Barcelona, ​​to start working for a bigger purpose.

Speakers

Fer Sola
Director of Learning by Helping. Industrial engineer specialized in innovation methodologies. He was director of the EMPREAR incubator (40 startups), and mentor of social startups. He founded Eclon, a startup dedicated to the development of the first green 3d printer in Latin America (winner of Entrepreneurial Competition Banco Santander and Best Business Plan of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce) and Wolox IoT, a startup specialized in Internet of Things projects. He is the academic and teaching director of the Brother for Change social impact creativity course at the Brother Creative School in Barcelona. He was professor of Innovation and Product Design at the National Technological University and University of Buenos Aires, where he also worked in Technological Transfer.

Tomy Megna
Director of Learning by Helping. Creative consultant for NGOs and audiovisual producers. Winner of several international creative awards such as Cannes Lions, London International Festival and El Ojo de Iberoamérica. Academic and teaching director of the Brother Impact social impact creativity course at the Brother Creative School in Barcelona, ​​where he is also a professor of creativity in the Summer Creativity School and Integral Creativity Course programs. He directed and developed several creative projects of social innovation for entities such as TEDx (Buenos Aires), USINA (Buenos Aires), Arrels (Barcelona), First Aid, UCV (Venezuela), Norwegian Refugees Council (Norway), Spanish Commission for Refugee Assistance (Spain).
